Today I worked on a new app but it is not ready yet. It is called Blocky Flock. When it’s done, it is going to have a bunch of flying birds falling from the sky. If you want to see my app click here http://bitsbox.com/run.html?zd4oq.
In history I learned about the Blue Ridge Mountains. One cool thing about the mountains is that they go all the way to Canada! Also, Mount Mitchell is the tallest peak of the Blue Ridge Mountain range.
In math I reviewed fractions by playing a game called, Dolphin Feed. This is a game where you have to find the matching decimal dolphin and give it the fraction fish that matches it. I set the world record for getting correct answers for one thousand and one times. Just kidding! There is no world record for this game. Or is there??? 😉
In science I had to look up animals and find their behavioral adaptations. I looked up Ostriches and American Crows. Did you know that Ostriches use their speed to run from predators, not just for getting to the nearest watering hole. Also, the male Ostrich can make a roar very similar to a lion. Additionally, I found that American Crows live everywhere in North America. Something interesting about American Crows is that they have a wingspan up to 3.3 feet.
