It was game day today. The first game of the season for both JD and Wyatt. JD’s team is the Orioles, and Wyatt is on the Marlins. Both of the boys had good games today. It was pretty hot, and slightly overcast, but all-in-all, a good day for baseball.

JD did a great job, today. His team won their game 1-0, and JD was the one that got the only RBI in the game. He ended up receiving the game ball that you see below:

Wyatt had a good game as well. He scored 3 times today, and he got to hang out with one of his best buddies, Gerard. Here he is standing on third base, explaining to one of the parents that he had journeyed from home plate, to first base, then second, and he would soon be heading back to home. He enjoys chatting with folks while he is out on the field.

This is Wyatt, playing as Catcher. He was very enthusiastic in this position, and appeared to be casting some kind of spell on the ball before he put it on the tee. I don’t know how else to explain what he was doing. There’s video of this, so feel free to ask to see it.

Finally, here is a picture of JD enjoying a tasty treat (milkshake, I believe) for scoring the only point in the game and helping his team to earn a win for the Orioles.
