Today I learned another way to save code. My dad installed a new app on my computer called a text editor that is used for writing code. This helped me to save the code because when I wrote code in Bitsbox, sometimes it wouldn’t save and I would lose all my work. With the new app, I can save the code as I go so I don’t lose my work.
My app is called Lady Bug Launch. It isn’t done yet, but you can see what I have done so far if you click here: bitsbox.com/run.html?8thcn
In math, I played a game called time hunter. It is where you are a hunter and you are after certain times and you have to dodge insects, chain saws and dragons. I learned about time.
For science, I finally compared and contrasted the Harp Seal and the Hedgehog. One difference between them is that the Hedgehog lives in hot weather, but the Harp Seal doesn’t. One similarity between them is that they are both carnivores.
For history, I watched a video about the Appalachian Plateau. One thing you might not know is that the Appalachian Plateau is the only region where the coal mines are in Virginia!
