Now let’s be honest, you know darned well that these puppies are adorable. Our family is currently fostering these puppies for the next 2 weeks and we’re trying to find them a nice home. There are one male and one female puppy, which given the season, we of course named after characters from the movie, Christmas Vacation: Clark and Ellen.
Clark
Clark was rather subdued during this photoshoot, but generally, he is fairly active. One amazing thing about Clark is that within 1 day of arriving at our house, he was already peeing on the puppy mat we put out. We hardly had to train him on that at all. He just figured it out and he is very consistent on that. Clark’s coat is all black, but he has a little white spot at the tip of his tail. JD calls it his frosted tip.
One more note about Clark: We have one person who has shown interest in him already. If you are interested, please let us know still in case the first person decides not to take him.
Ellen
Ellen is just an absolute doll. She is a fiesty little thing. She didn’t catch on to the puppy pad thing quite as quickly; and is still hit or miss on that right now. She has a very fine coat that is solid black, it’s really pretty! We love petting her. She’ll snuggle right up on your lap and let you pet her while she slowly falls to sleep. She loves to play as well.
Both Dogs
Both dogs do share some characteristics. First, they are both just fine around cats. They may be a bit too spunky for the likes of most kitties, but they aren’t mean or anything, they kinda just want to play. They aren’t afraid of the cats, nor aggressive toward them so if you have cats, you’ll be good to go. I actually put the cats in a couple of photos so you could see the puppies not reacting to their presence.
Second, both puppies are so far just amazing sleepers at night. We’ve had them for 2 nights and both of those nights, as soon as we put them in their kennel (we’re crate training them) and turn out the lights, they go right to sleep. They don’t make a peep the whole night. It’s amazing! I was expecting to wake up to howling at the moon or some such rambunctiousness, but so far so good.
More pictures
We took about 200 or so pictures of the puppies, so if you’d like to see them from some different angles, check out this shared photo album in Google Photos:

Note: I may update this with more pictures/information later, but I wanted to get something online as soon as possible so we could get started on finding these pups a new home. Check back for more photos/info.
