First, take a wood block and make it into the shape that you want. Next, add performance mods to your car! Last add paint, stickers and a weight.

This is the Pinewood Derby car that JD built for his Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby Race. This car is called the Dragon Burner! It never lost a single race, and it raced six times!

JD put a lot of work into this car. He did sanding with an electric sander, he polished the axles, he put graphite on the axles, he painted the car, he sealed the car, and just so you know, he actually is the one that came up with this awesome design concept for the car. The way that it is shaped, yeah, that was his idea.

This was an awesome car, and we had a great time putting it together. It was a lot of work, but it totally paid off.
